The rock spirit of tradition
How can the traditional character of a house be combined with the rock spirit of its owners?
Description
Giorgio Marchese and Arianna Nobile, founders of the Punto Zero studio, have succeeded in doing just that, unveiling the modern face of a 20th-century apartment located in the heart of Colle Oppio, Rome. With a stunning view of the Colosseum and the Altare della Patria, original ceilings and doors blend harmoniously with the contemporary furnishings of the home. The dining table, designed by the same architects, becomes the focal point of the interiors, while early 20th-century graniglia tiles are framed by Cementoresina floors. The play of colors pays homage to the Eternal City, offering an unparalleled backdrop: the reds and ochre yellows of natural light interact with the Greige tones of Color Collection, chosen as a unifying element for both floors and walls.
