Curved lines
In an iconic building of the Milanese skyline, a symbol of the city's post-war revival, the large polychrome marble circle in the living area serves as the central axis around which an entire apartment has been reimagined.
Description
The designers at Atelierzero avoided the traditional division of space with walls and doors, instead creating perspectives that maximize views of the city. A play of volumes, differentiated by color and function, became the organizing elements of the space, with the large kitchen island acting as the focal point. The neutral envelope of the walls, warmed by the rich textures of Wallcrete Living and Patina in the warm gray KK 64, was chosen to enhance the existing elements—starting with the marble, which reappears as a defining feature in every room, even in the headboard of the bed.
