A secret passage between two souls

Inside a building in Old Milan, a home-studio weaves together personal visions, Japanese influences, Seventies-inspired references, and a strong focus on materiality. Casa REdDUO was born from the desire of Fabiola Di Virgilio and Andrea Rosso, the creative couple behind the project, to “expand their work on a larger scale, embracing new aspects of the domestic environment.”

Description

In the home, the ceilings become a defining decorative element: using the texture of Outdoor Plaster in the greige tone KK 1362, they add three-dimensionality to the space, contrasting with the delicate walls in Patina Living KK 1360, separated by a colored stripe. “The goal was to create continuity between the rooms, like a ‘single line,’” say Fabiola and Andrea. “The result is a balance between classicism and contemporaneity.” Accessible through a secret internal passage, the studio preserves the building’s original soul while adapting to the couple’s professional needs. The vintage floors and cement tiles interact with the raw concrete of the bathroom, interrupted by a glass opening. Casa REdDUO brings together tradition and innovation, transforming the domestic space of two creatives into a bespoke project where interiors and materials coexist in harmony. A “work in progress” enriched by the contribution of a selection of exceptional partners.
