Pastel accords
How do you transform a large early-20th-century apartment in the historic center of Catania into a hospitality space with a contemporary personality The architects from the Galati Casmiro Giorno studio played the color card, creating harmony between original features — vaulted ceilings, doors, and floors — and modern elements.
Description
Setting the tone is a bold red volume at the entrance, which acts as a hub connecting the various rooms and echoes the shades of the original cement tiles. In the bedrooms, an architectural partition encloses the bathroom space, and the color palette is harmonized with the floors: ranging from Natural Green KK 46 and KK 52 to the ochre KK 102 from the Dusty Yellow palette. Also featured are KK 26 from the Navy Blue range, KK 128 Rose Pink, and the rust-toned KK 103. The rich selection of products from the Color Collection offered specific solutions for every technical need of the project.
